MAYAN EXPEDITION

Coba + Cenote Choo-Ha + Punta Laguna Reserve + Meal with a Mayan Family

An Adventure in the Heart of the Jungle

Immerse yourself in Mayan culture and nature during an immersive day.

We will visit the majestic archaeological site of Coba by tuk-tuk or bicycle. Amidst the lush vegetation and deep within the jungle, we will discover the 42-meter-high Nochoch Mul temple, one of the tallest in the Mayan world.

We swam in a magnificent, enclosed cenote. The crystal-clear waters of Choo-Ha provide a magical setting for swimming and relaxing.

Our adventure then takes us to a Mayan family where we’ll enjoy a traditional meal carefully prepared by them. We’ll have the opportunity to learn how to make tortillas under the watchful eyes of the cooks. A truly authentic and unique experience.

Our adventure continues at the Punta Laguna Reserve, a vast nature reserve managed by a Mayan community. Deep in the jungle, we will be welcomed by a shaman of the community for a ceremony of welcome and protection. We venture into the jungle amidst the lush vegetation to observe the monkeys.
